There really is a Grandma Rie.

Grandma Rie is a 74 year old Italian grandmother (the grandkids couldn't pronounce Marie when they were young so they called her Grandma Rie and it stuck.)

She learned to bake our recipe for biscotti at the age of 10 by baking with her Mother and Aunt Phil in their home kitchen. Now for the last 60 years she has been baking them and giving them away to family and friends.

One day last summer, while she was baking with the grandchildren in North Carolina, her daughter-in-law Liz said, "Marie you have to stop giving away that Bodacious Biscotti" -- and that's how our company got its name.

After procuring the necessary Florida USDA licenses, and finding bakers who would do it "OUR WAY" we brought our product to several Farmer's Markets in Florida to test our biscotti for acceptance both in taste and price. Boy were we surprised. What happened was wonderfully unbelievable.

People actually thanked us for caring enough to put out a thoroughly healthy, tasty product at a reasonable price.

Grandma Rie supervises our bakers at the bakeries while the Bodacious Biscotti is being made and packed for your enjoyment. She makes sure that the recipe is being followed, to the letter, for your enjoyment.
